  1. Here is one of my Hunslets and driving trailer I must dig the rake out and do a video for you guys.
  2. I know what you mean but imagine the layout you could squeeze under your bed if it was N scale
  3. Nothing wrong with that Jason she looks the part.
  4. Love his Yank stuff although as you say its n scale
  5. Some rare kits there K any further updates on the finished wagons.
  6. Good info there on the numbers. Did these numbers just apply to the maroon and blue era or did they carry on to the grey and blue era.
  7. Any idea why they chose to run around the coaches out there instead of in the station
  8. Although expensive it does make for a cracking model train with 2 maroon Hunslets topping and tailing a rake of maroon and blue Mk2's
  9. Agreed but I don't ever remember seeing them leaving the coaches at the platform and running around. I could be wrong.
  10. I don't remember them running round at Central. Not to say they didn't do it I just don't remember ever seeing them do it. Did Mk3's ever work the Enterprise?
  11. Yes SD9. The RTR already has windows in it. I just change the glass for clear instead of the black that comes with the loco.
  12. All I did was make some buffers from plastic card and a little work on the catcher recesses that's it. The only other thing I did was make a chassis and weather it. Everything else is standard RTR. Sorry but I don't have a SSM Sulzer to compare it to. As I said earlier a little bit of work and you can have a good representation of the real loco.
  13. Stephen I dumped the standard Silverfox chassis in favor of some American muscel. I hand built a chassis from plastic card and fitted it with Proto 2000 motor running gear and bogies.
  14. Some photos of the Silverfox RTR Sulzer
  15. Noel its Mousa models brass sides. http://www.mousa.biz/fourmm/coach/sides/CIE/cie_sides4.html
  16. I don't think any manufacturer has quite nailed the Sulzer. But with a little work you can have a good representation of the real loco.
  17. Here you go lads. Somewhere in the west of Ireland. Enjoy the latest addition to the fleet I got from Chris Dyer last week RTR Silver Fox Sulzer B107
  18. Be patient K I picked up a new loco last Sunday from Chris Dyer in Stillorgan. I will do a little video for you over the bank holiday weekend. I think all the old timers (like yourself ) will love the west of Ireland feel of the new edition in the video it will put you in mind of the book Rails Through The West. Stay tuned.
  19. That was a great day out Eamonn. We will have to get something organised again for the summer.
  20. Looking good K can't wait to see it finished with Glendergs glazing.
  21. Thanks Guys for your comments. Barl the back backscenes are made by ID you can find them on ebay. I find that using N gauge gives you a better sense of depth. Will post some more videos and pictures soon.
