  3. I saw 112 this evening with my own eyes at the set up for the show and It was very impressive This will be the hardest 15 hours and 54 minutes ever
  4. The ballasting has really added something to an already excellent layout I love the third the third picture , the junction curving off under the bridge is very nice

I started fitting point motors yesterday and I've began to run into problems I'm using Everard Junctions tutorial as help Here is the switch board the point in question is in the bottom right corner The back of the switch The point motor The point And the instruction sheet I'm using I've gone over all the wires and connections a few times and everything seems alright whenever I go the change the point it just gives off a buzzing sound and when I try running a train over the top part of the point it cuts out :confused::confused: any help would be greatly appreciated

  11. As requested by HeirFlick here are some pictures of point motor progress Also some pictures of Kadee progress, the messiest layout in the world and a stand for the 0-4-0 steam engine My EGV I'll probably put some coach or wagon alongside the steam engine and then the stand will need painting
  12. I went into marks this afternoon and just got two packs in case I run into trouble with the point motors Hopefully I'll have a running loop by the end of the weekend Thanks for all the help guys

On my layout I'm ready to start fitting Seep PM1 point motors I know that they need a three way switch but looking at different websites there are heaps of different options and I'm not sure which is the best Any help would be greatly appreciated as I would like to start on the point motors before the 071's are released so they won't be sitting in their boxes untill the point motors are installed

Today I started fitting Kadee's to my fleet I started with no 201 I used Anthonys guide to fitting the Kadee After putting it in place i drilled a small hole in the back of the Kadee then put in some brass wire to keep the coupler where it should be Here are some pictures I'm also making a stand out of plasticard for the steam engine in my last post to sit on as it dosen't have any use on the layout
