  8. Thanks a million for all the help hopefully I'll be able to run a full loop by this evening
  9. By connections do you mean the metal strip under the point? The controller is now shorting as soon as I turn the power on
  10. The frog is connected to the F terminal on the Seep PM1 The single end of the point is wired to the bus wires All soldered So if the frog isn't wired up do I need to put any power to it
  11. Yes, I wired the 'single end of the point , I've done no adjusting to the point So is it probably just that I need to swap the motor/switch wires around
  12. The only power to the point is from the point motor I installed 2 wires to the thin end of the point but it made no difference Thanks for the help ,it is much appreciated
  13. So what would this involve? Thanks
  14. Hi guys At last i got a CDU yesterday which means I can get my point motors to work, This morning I wired in the first motor and then tested it It threw the point no problem but when tried to drive a loco over it it just shorted The point is electrofrog, insulating fishplates on all rails, no droppers other than the wire going to the frog from the Seep PM1 So does anyone have any advice into where I'm going wrong Here are some pictures of the point in question and 082 and a video of 082 trying to get across the point s1096.photobucket.com/albums/g329/brianwalshmk3/?action=view&current=92E033F1-DAD3-4D27-A015-E0517D475C45-1522-0000048603791EBA_zps6b0a44dc.mp4

  16. Beautiful scenery ,This is a lovely period for a layout so be set in as i had lots of interesting liveries, stock and loco's
  17. Excellent work! When 071 stopped I wondered if it was the end of the video or unpowered track I can't wait to see a train doing a full loop of the layout
  18. I believe the Mk 4 DVT's can achieve 125MPH Though the 201's, track and signalling probably wouldn't be able to cope
  19. Lovely stuff! That will look great with an 071
  20. Very nice indeed! I love this layout
  21. Fair play to you for sticking this project after all the criticism I hope you took it constructively Well done for trying to improve the models looks while at the same time decreasing price and then to design a glazing and interior I can only say well done and good luck
  22. I used a Lima mk 3 It was nice and easy to work with because of the removable roof eBay is probably the best place to find one
