Agreed, it would certainly add to the scene. I did consider doing that when I fixed the wall down first but changed my mind. I still have alot of scenic work to finish on the enbabankment which will eventually cover that area along the perimeter wall.

I changed some small things by painting the ledges and doors. Blinds were also added to help with individuality. I have some more bits and pieces to add to the back gardens and I also need to place some vehicles in the driveways. Moving from left to right, each property is set back 15mm from its neighbour. It's subtle, but works well in that corner and looks more realistic in my opinion.

Cheers, Noel. I've alot of wagons out of service at the moment, mainly because they're sitting on my workbench partially weathered. I'm hoping to get them back running soon.

New arrival on Petersbridge this week. I've been after this locomotive for a long time. A big thanks to @WRENNEIRE for sorting me out.

Looks just right, Noel. Nice work.

Lovely job on the weathering. It's a cracking little model.

Being a suitable donor has little to do with it. I have the 3 IE liveried 071's and 077 is the better looking of the 3 in my opinion. The factory weathering on 085 isn't great, and brings the model down slightly. 078 carries the smaller IE logo, which I like, but the majority who model that era seem to lean towards the larger logo. You get the best of both with 077 which makes it that bit more desirable.

Brilliant stuff. I like the look of 183. Have you removed some of the factory weathering, or is it a renumbered loco?

Yes, it's easier than having to constantly lean into the corner when trying to work on it. It's lightweight, so I can move it about when I need to. Once the majority of work is finished I will fix it in place on the layout.

Lawns have now been added front and back. I have also made up and fixed down the perimeter walls. The embankments have been painted and will eventually need static grass applied. There's alot more work to be done on this area, but it's beginning to take shape.

The road surface and driveways have now been added using sheets from Scale Model Scenery. The paving slabs are from an old Metcalfe kit I had lying around. I have also covered the raised areas on both sides with plaster cloth.

Lovely stuff, Noel. Nice to see the bogie cement wagons out and about. They're a favourite of mine.

Moving along to the opposite corner. Today was spent cutting and shaping the foam for what will be a small residential area.

A little more progress. I've been building up the ground level with Das Clay. It's time consuming, but also quite relaxing.

I had a feeling you'd notice them, Noel. Yes, they're a nice little detail to add.

Cheers, Noel. The lower half is yet to be completed. It needs a little more work. I have made up the frame with the discharge pipes. These will also need to be fixed in place.
