    That is the reason one anyway why the UTA bought 3 SClass from CIE in 1963.

    There was also a turntable at Central Serbice Depot in Belfast.

    63 to 65 had standard MPD cab ends as above. NIR planned to retain them and 63 and 63 got the Blue and Red livery. 64 was always in Maroon and White in NIR days

    On Saturday the 16.50 to Belfast took 20minutes to reach Malahide!

    Yes it was used for the Swilly shipping services. There are also detailed plans now in the Tower Museum Derry for a projected line from Derry to Moville.
