  1. for a nibble....one large slice of cheddar cheese stuck between 2 thick chunks of corned beef, smothered in a dollop of brown sauce - slap the lot between 2 thick slices of brown bread and wash down with a mug of scald.............

  4. in the good old days of steam, back in 1942, no 802 'TAILTE' achieved a steady speed of 95 mph on a 6 to 8 mile section of the line between Maryboro and Knightsbridge. she was pulling 10 coaches at an average speed of 71mph, completeing the journey in 43 minutes! beat that with a stick!!
  5. JHB, as a matter of interest , at that time was the track the old joined or continously welded? id emagine if it was the former, youd would want safety belts on!

  22. hi lads, a while back i asked gareth in the Model Shop Belfast is there any way there could be a slow/ extended start up recorded on the 071 sound chip . after fiddleing away for a while he rang me and played an extended cold start where it appeared that the battery was going to die then she slowly fired up....it sounded fantastic so i have 2 ordered and when i get them i will post a clip of them in action. gareth will sell these as a seperate 071 sound chip, as well as the normal start up........HAPPY DAYS!!!
