  3. glad to help rich. got the 'railways in ireland 1834-1984' there and very helpful they were too! 2 great pics in it....a full side view othe CIE experimental turf burner and the second is a classic- military police stand guard as a RAF shackelton aircraft awaits clearence for take off at Ballykelly...while a belfast-derry train crosses the runway! where else would you see that?

  13. lads , have a look at the wanderers pics...they show 4003 after an overhaul and respray and carrying the new logo. it dosnt look that bad!

  20. steven, she is far from perfect, the cab doors (which can be left open on this model) are to far from the cad face, but it will do me nicely! hattons are selling 08's for 49 quid at the moment......go on - get one....you know you want too!!!!

  23. ger, got a hornby 08 and the beauty with this model is that the storage boxes at the sides could be removed to closely resemble the D class. this one is sound fitted and runs very well.
  24. :stunning work...that will be a first class layout when complete!
