  16. apart from the railway - modelling dosent get much better than this - all you need is a few chickens!!!!
  17. as said before, westy your man, but failing that, theres these... came from silver fox models..i presume he still makes them, they came on a sheet with various loco numbers and flying snail logos

  20. there was a shop called Days Bazzar in Mullingar which stocked hornby railways. almost every evening on the way home from school i would drop in and stare at the stock. there was a gleaming 'Princess Elizabeth' 2-6-0 with exhaust steam sound - actually went chuff chuff! great stuff at the time .. 1970 was the year if memory serves.
