Spoiled at a UK mainland exhibition

Over the weekend I went to the Macclesfield Model Railway Exhibition. I wanted a day out and saw that Glenties would be there.

Not being too far away and an 00n3 layout to look at (Drool.! over ) I set off.

On arrival not only was the above in attendance but also there was this beautiful expanse.

It's an easy mistake, if you buy the ticket in a hurry.

I just thought of the band The Macc Lads as soon as Macclesfield was mentioned! 

With greats such as: "All day drinking" and "Beer and sex and chips and gravy"

One of my abiding regrets is failing the see the Macc Lads live.

We did borrow a video of a live concert - from a bizarre source. One of the secretaries at work overheard us mention them and said she had a video, if we wanted to borrow it. She was the most delicate, genteel little flower and it was hard to believe that she'd even heard of them.

Mac Lads were a bit tame. For really radio unplayable stuff look up DR Busker on You Tube.

Regularly found at beer Festivals and Steam Rallies (and me in the crowd when I can be).
