Is 29121 at present the only 29 with the new PIS?

I think at least 2-3 should have them by now (dunno numbers), it is being fitted throughout the 29k fleet

does the Passenger Information System make the 29000s look any different. is there some sort of panel on the inside.

When they get PISed they're observed to sway more than usual and occasionally end up in places they don't normally go, often bringing paraphernalia such as traffic cones with them on their travels - when you see them in Cork things are very bad 😝

Jokes aside, it seems they have an extra screen inside. See the pictures on this page: https://quaestor.ie/passenger-information-systems/

theres a double sided screen in the doorway, the stanchion pole runs through it.

The destination led boards look different to the other 29s. More of an orange colour and smaller. So far only unit 21 is done that I know of. It can only run with other 2900 that have the PIS mod done, so at present it is just running by itself on a 4 car link.
