I was lucky my other half was home visiting family in the uk so have an address to have stuff posted to .not getting stung for vat and an posts fees.

You'll have paid 20% HMRC VAT, just not 23% Irish VAT.

Rails take off the U.K. vat for new stuff. All you pay is the Irish vat and the An Post fee. Story is they are going to do that with all of their stuff.

ELLIS CLARK deduct UK vat on anything you buy from them.

And accurascale charge you EU vat so you don’t pay anything extra.

So if I was to order IRM stuff from the AS website in the UK it would be delivered duty paid to me in Germany?

It would arrive VAT (de) Paid with no customs exam or payments on the local end. Yea.
