Rich, http://www.modeltrainstuff.com http://www.trainworld.com Both US, if you go for the non sound version you shouldn't get stung by customs (this has sound and I did get stung!) http://www.modeljunction.info - UK retailer, but they probably wont have them in for about another 6 weeks if you can wait. Really good service though. Quote

Garfield Posted May 4, 2012 Posted May 4, 2012 Strange they didn't go for the green and yellow, as you said Fran, but it's still easily the nicest of the UP heritage liveries. Quote

QUOTE] http://www.katyrailroad.org/images/mktdsl55a.jpg Katy 1st Generation diesels appear to have been painted red The Green and Yellow seems to date from the Barringer era, when he tried to modernise and revive railroads like the MKT & Rock Island. The first generation Katy diesels included some odd reebuilds of Alco FA and RS units with EMD power units, some of the road switchers looked like a cross between an RS3 & a GP7. Hopefully the BNSF & CSX will revive some of their classic schemes. John Edited May 4, 2012 by Mayner Quote
