enniscorthyman
Just wondering lads a few times I have got too large a file when trying to upload photos. I am not the best when it comes to the IT end of things.Any Hints?.
Garfield
An easy way to get around this is to upload to a 3rd party image host (I find http://www.tinypic.com handy), who will provide a link so you can use the image here. Use the link with the tags and paste it into your post.
BosKonay
The photo / upload limit is 2MB per file. You should be able to resize the image to under 2MB in your photo software if you save it 'for the web'

BosKonay
Can you check what size your images typically are? I could crank the limit up a bit if needed?
Garfield
I'll also post a quick tutorial on how to use a third party image host, if that helps...
Glenderg
What's the optimum size for pics though? Is 800 x 600 a bit Windows 95 or is it still current? Is 1024 x 768 optimum?
BosKonay
1024px × 764px seems to be a current 'norm' (and is the size most smartphones / iphones take
