magnetic close coupling

Hope the new magnet close coupling that are to be used on the new Accurascale Mark 5 coaches  will be available  as an accessory and maybe even in different lengths?? What's the changes lads? Ill be first in with my order.

Good looking work all round and the couplings will be an improvement.  Hopefully they will have a role in the future development projects like CIE MK4s and the Enterprise stock.  might even enhance the class 80 and 450 railcar projects.  Having cut your teeth on these for the UK market hopefully the skills learnt will speed up the CIE/ NIR projects !

So what are these appropriate for? Are you guys using them on the Mk5's?

They're the couplings they used with the Chaldrons.

They are the Chaldron solution, basically a NEM plug with chain, to a magnet, and they work well with any loose coupled stock. 

The mk5 sets come with scale magnetic coupling bars, which we will be offering packs of soon, and are perfect for coaching stock.
