i have just posted on IRM in for sale section, about a Bogus website Garbaya sells murphy models

Ebay ?1? Beware..the demons there is a bogus web site called Garbaya who spam sells many hot items of the day including murphy models, any items, if there are a lot of bids for them, i saw a 141 for $40.00, when i asked Visa about it, they said that Garbaya regularly scam/ hit customers credit cards for 500.00, after they make the bogus sale, and then send you a $1.00 pair of sunglasses so that they have a postal ticket, and then you cant lodge a compliant. my techi son says they (their computers) watch best selling items on all sites and send billions of lines of code randomly to millions of ip addresses, if by a slim chance they get what your looking for ,,mtch your outgoing search with there bogus items, you get hit , popup, with the advert and the murphy model then pops up on your pc, instead of the ebay or amazon item you were searching, much like the signal in DCC, ,, yes it a terrible irony the link below is an 'open office' non microsoft file, so it may not open in ms word, we use open office cos its totally stable and free, its a screen shot on the equivalent to word docs, a screen shot of a murphy model for $40.00 black and tan 141,, BEWARE OF GARBAYA, bogus web garbaya.odt my son tells me they change the name of the web site and worse they move server and country so they cant be tracked. if its too good to be true, then its too good for you. stay away fro garbaya... bogus web garbaya.odt

just reading the posts re the fry,,,, political or what? so does the IRM policy on religion and politics cease when it come to important issues on model trains? how times have changed, irishrail goods transport is booming, rail itself is a promise of a more sustainable future, will the the model mailboat will be going to laHollyhead in france, post brexit, DCC has arrived, we were deep in recession when those posts were writ, now we can waste billions on stuff, what next , battery operated trains, no bus wiring, camera trains that you can run on mobile phones in Ireland and drive the train on a USA HO club layout track. I suggest FRY should be able to be driven by anyone in the world no matter where they are i did thanks, still reading them

Hi Broithe, i new to modelling, new to site,, met Dave for first time this week, being a parent i also work from home, so after work, when dinners on, i is tween laptop and cooker after kids go to bed, i do a wee bit of building the layout, then find i have to stop for whatever, i visit IRM as this blog is very informative. and friendly. , i am surprised there are so few layouts to view, some are amazing. another rte train vid https://www.rte.ie/archives/collections/news/21210877-real-steam-engine-and-model-railway/

hi MikeO, yip i would agree, not that i know much about trains, i was thinking about certain photos of prototypes ,, a loco then a few wagons, then a flat then the same number of wagons, i have seen it more than once. i sorta presumed the train was going to same place, Then there is loading, timber wagons, if you build a train in the west with some full wagons, and collect timber along the way, sometimes the train isnt picking up full wagons at the next station, its stopping on a loading siding and getting filled. it really doesn't matter but it was always puzzling me...

no i just guessing,, many things are collected at car boots, there is often old oil lights from trains, signs ripped off from closed lines, train stuff flys out

theres a lot of comments on this topic, about hiding the postal arrival of the A's from your partner , Had IRM made the A's in just one livery. it would be easy, but with so many choices, and so many committed to buying more than one loco at a time IRM should post them one at a time every two weeks. its the only way, and modellers can say on arrival that they are shoes... as in shoes in boxes, and as you 'mail ordered them' you were entitled to return them, as each time the colour was wrong.. your partner will fully understand.
