  3. Beautiful work Paul. Well done.
  4. Sorry to hear that Brassnut. I'm a professional layout builder and do this as a fulltime job. Anything I can help you with?
  5. Hi Darren, Marks models are in Cork. If your looking for something to put on I manufacture baseboards!
  6. Hi Noel, Don't go for the Aldi or Lydl vernier caliper as they fail and are not accurate. It's worth spending a bit more on them.

    Failed loco

Hi Iang, I'm based in Edenderry, I do loco decoder fitting. If you want to drop into me I'll take a look.
  8. Hi Speedy, Yes that's no problem to do. Don't forget to be in to win you have to like and share the post on my Facebook page!
  9. I decided it was high time to give away another free baseboard. All you have to do is like and share the giveaway post on my facebook page. Link below
  10. Hi Bill, Is it just one particular loco or coach that causes this?
  11. Cracking work Dave! It's going to look amazing when it's painted up
  12. I wouldn't agree with you there Richie, I have built a small N gauge American layout with shunting and continuous running in mind. I can run trains very slowly for shunting, I never had a problem with them stalling at slow speeds.
  13. It would have to be scratch built Noel. To do it right and make it reliable would cost the thick end of 3 grand! So not really commercially viable.
  14. Hi Guys. I'm on the hunt for a Heljan Container Terminal Crane. There's one on eBay but it's not tested and they want silly money for it. Anyone know of one for sale somewhere?
  15. That's a stunning model Derek, buses were never my thing but that's a beauty. Lovely crisp detail. I could be tempted!
  16. Unfortunately Peco bull head rail is a very limited range. Only the flex track is currently available and at the start of October 1 point will be available which is the large radius. I contacted Peco last week about the range and the answer I got was that they may introduce more points into the range in the future! Typical Peco! I contacted them last year regarding the code 75 concrete sleeper range as currently there is only one concrete sleeper point available and there response was that they do not have any plans to increase that range! They are an old fashioned company and are not meeting their customers demands. Another option is Tillig track, the points are stunning but it's only available in code 83. Marcway is another option and a good range too.
  17. Would you believe Eoin was given a present of one that was damaged. Bought in a charity shop for a fiver!
  18. Samsung also had this and went away from it as it was not secure enough.
  19. Apple have fallen by the wayside in recent years. The screen in the new 8 and X are made by Samsung! Apple have been building a new factory for making AMOLED screens but are way behind. Samsung are way ahead. I used to be Apple fan but can't justify high prices for tech that can't compete.
  20. Looks fantastic Eoin. I'd say the signalman is sunburned with the light so bright in the signal box!
  21. Hi Speedy, I'll be there with an exhibition baseboard. Call over and I can help you out.
  22. The Midlands Model Railway Club are having an open day this Staurday 19th of August. It's in the Abbeyleix Heritage Centre in Abbeyleix. There will be layouts on display
  23. It's good so far, Guinness is good down here!
