    Thanks lads, it's a great space alright. There is a big room at the back which will become the layout building area, it means I will be able to have a number of layouts on the go at once. It also has 2 large rooms upstairs, the plan will be a showroom with 4 or 5 layouts fully finished in N gauge and OO gauge, customers can then try them all and take one away with them. The long term plan will be to open a fully stocked shop. Onwards and upwards!

    Model Rail Baseboards are on the move! I have moved the workshop to an industrial unit in Valleymount in Wicklow. The business continues to grow and with over 1500 sq ft I will have room for a showroom and I plan to have a number of layouts on display for customers to try.

    I love watches and have quite a collection, but I just don't see the attraction of a smart watch. They are quite boring and the only one that looked any way decent is the Moto 360. You just can't beat a good 3D mechanical watch something the screen of a smart watch can't replicate, and besides my phone does everything and more the watch can do!

    I have a client that will only run pristine, he was very fussy about the ballast it had had to be absolutely perfect. He won't touch anything that's weathered. Rule number one applies

    No worries Noel, I don't advertise it. I get them for clients if I'm asked usually part of a layout package.

    Unfortunately it will be a lot longer than 10 to 12 weeks till we see them. It's well into next year at the moment.
