  1. That's a very impressive container rake Dave. I see a mix of 40ft and some 20ft pairs on the clip, and a few refrigerated ones too. What are the container flats (kit, RTR, brass, resin)? A mix of MIR and SSM ones Noel, The first 5 with black bogies are MIR and the rest are SSM brass ones

  12. It is proposed to build a model of the famous Ballyglunin/Castletown station from the film, The Quiet Man It will be built by members of the MRSI in their Dorset St clubrooms We then propose to donate it to the committee of the Ballyglunin Railway Restoration Project to be displayed at their fund raising events etc So I am on the scrounge! Already a good friend from this parish has offered to donate all the transfers we need and indeed any other small bits that may be required. Thank you Des! Has anyone made or converted a D17 loco #59? This will be our toughest item to acquire and we would really appreciate any help in sourcing one If anyone feels that they would like to be associated with this project through donating items that may be of interest or indeed dirty wads of cash please drop me a PM and I will be delighted to talk to you about the project Some more pics here: https://www.google.ie/search?q=&tbm=isch&tbs=rimg:CYjspv0UldGiIjim7e4yU8VVmnYCm1TNKLDGXfEyYOB9FGh0yR1_1sPv6xngjaQfu9hkaJDwSZKhoXzUc5oDcBRqZVioSCabt7jJTxVWaEeS9M-LG2L6vKhIJdgKbVM0osMYRpoyLFFlbtGIqEgld8TJg4H0UaBFBtJpgIaDxqCoSCXTJHX-w-_1rGER3wj4vjlHDrKhIJeCNpB-72GRoRJZuFi1zsMTUqEgkkPBJkqGhfNRGy5bJGXUXe7yoSCRzmgNwFGplWEQytfeDLTFfs&tbo=u&sa=X&ved=0ahUKEwjC87K82dHVAhXE7hoKHX7XC3MQ9C8IHw&biw=1536&bih=768&dpr=1.25

  23. I have tried a few different Lais chips in the 201 and they all seem to have the same problem Been through most of the suggested remaps and I cannot get them to operate as per the MM chips in the 201 I have changed CV 32 to 16 previously and had the same result as Thumper suggested I was really hoping for it to operate the same as the MM one
  24. What about a Bachmann chip? As far as I remember the 141's operate fine with a Lais hip
  25. The headlight is non directional, stays in the same position all the time, whether forward or reverse
