  1. No. Thank **** for decimalisation.
  2. Always thought they should stick to one logo at least to make it instantly recognisable for the public on stations etc. The BR arrows for instance are still used for the public to this day since the 60s. London Underground, DB the same (albeit with a minor tweak or two).
  3. Stunning!
  4. Hope the font isnt IE's new found obsession with Arial.
  5. I'd say she'll be tested on a liner before long. I'm also assuming 'Enterprise' will be written on her somewhere?
  6. Still hate the yellow front. Makes it look like it's mentally challenged.
  7. Lovely job!
  8. We're the ones with 'Super Moderator' written under our names. Currently it's myself, Garfield and Boskonay.
  9. think they've had a prototype on show. Hornby doing one too but Oxford should beat them to the punch. Also doing some private owner wagons.
  10. oh for a time machine!

  12. 121 is next in line for PM.
  13. Yes the US loading gauge is much bigger than ours.
  14. They ran here for over 50 years. 121s were the first locos built by GM for Ireland and this was the livery they were delivered in. They soon went into black and tan livery. They were mainline engines, not shunters.
  15. Great to see 800 in full flight in my home town JHB. Sadly things just arent as exciting here today. Oddly enough I was thinking what it must've been like with the big three Queens running through here today when I took this... 22 335 Clondalkin by franburke, on Flickr
  16. Heljan 58 might work well as a chassis donor. I know of someone who scratchbuilt one to that chassis.
  17. Jonathan Swift is still chugging along.
  18. So that's Dun Laoghaire dead as a port? Pity. I think the HSS was getting long in the tooth at this stage? Wonder what will happen to her.
  19. Yeah I'd stick with the Antex or Weller myself.
  20. GNRI railcar livery would be nice!
  21. Lads, read the rules; No politics. No exceptions. There's plenty of other places to put the world to rights. Thanks.
  22. Top job Richie. I saw a rake of them running last night. In all honesty the orange/tan/whatever looks much better in the flesh. I would implore anyone to have a look at them in their hand before deciding against them. Weathering as Glenderg has shown will make them even better.
  23. Just out, might be of interest to some http://www.ehattons.com/StockDetail.aspx?SID=73997&utm_source=OOGaugeNewsletter&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=20150128
