  8. A scratchbuilt work of art. The builder is an artist!
  9. There is also the option of a proper repaint over the poor finish. Weathering wont hide a poor paint job completely.
  10. 10 days is a bit long alright. Usually have it to Dublin in about 5-6 working days.
  11. I've bought from them a few times and all has been fine when they arrived (and all did.) What annoys me about them is that when you buy off their website you have no idea what you'll be charged in P&P until it arrives. I tend to use others instead like Hattons because of it. Only use Rails for their limited editions now which have been top notch. Did you buy from their website or EBay store? At least they refunded you which is good service. You've been pretty unlucky if it's happened more than once.
  12. Love the video Sheamus, saw it last night. Nice bit of atmosphere! You've been taking so cracking pics recently too.
  13. That's the one Broithe, cheers!
  14. There's a triangle just outside Kilkenny (the name of which escapes me now) which facilitated the turning.

  16. According to the extensive research I just did by opening my own kit they are not pre rolled
  17. Google is your friend. I duly edited it to protect your sensitive soul (honestly thought the swear filter would block it out)!

  20. 461 heading through the local station this morning. Looked superb! 461 Marble City Railtour by franburke, on Flickr This was my favourite shot I got of her though. B******s Anyway! That and more on my Flickr 461 Bowled by ICR by franburke, on Flickr
  21. There's no need to be smart Kevin, he's just offering a point of view. One as a fledgling photographer I do agree with. I dont want IE to start cracking down on us all. Considering it was an IE employee who pointed it out in the first place I think we should all take note. Anyway, a pic from me from the platform of Clondalkin/Fonthill. Top and Tail 071s on the HOBs. A few others are on my flickr page. 085 HOBS 2 by franburke, on Flickr
  22. Great job Kieran, top notch!
  23. Lovely stuff Richie! Any ideas on how to power them? Gotta love the E's, and I dont mean disco biscuits that were legal last week!
  24. Amen, once you've seen one ICR you've seen them all. I've taken pics of them just to keep warm while waiting for something interesting to come along. Sadly getting less likely these days. And stations have been vandalized in the name of modernity! I think it's great that there is accessibility for those physically impaired but could the facilities not be designed to fit in with the period buildings a bit better?
  25. The 4f would be much bigger than a J15 i would've thought?
