They started using the current green MK2s from 2004. They had the Cravens since 2006/7 but the blue/cream livery first appeared from 2014 onwards.

The tanktainers like GCA and Dana mainly rain on the 47fts in fairly recent times. I asked C Rail about making some Danas a few years back but he said he did not have enough photo material to do accurately. I have about a dozen of his GCAs and they are nice. Some Norfolk containers would be nice but again, for the newer 42s and 47s. I wouldn't mind some of the spurious green containers that regularly ran in the Bell liner rakes.

I think the thing with releasing just flats is that IRM now have 2 types. They have one set up for a 40ft and the other set up for 2x 20fts. If you try and put a 40 container on the latter it will be pushed up in the centre by the locking nubs. Same thing trying to centreally place a 20 container on the flat set up for 2x 20s. I bit of filling can fix this depending on how one wants to allocate their flats. One thing I have noticed with all my flats is that they are all slightly arched in the middle which makes the buffer beams droop down noticeably. Better than sagging in the middle I suppose. Could be the metal with the cold temperatures.

The lads must be delighted at the sale success of these, how long of a wait for another run is the question, especially with the rest of project 42 to get through.

The tracking numbers take a few hours to register on the Royal Mail system. Keep checking the number and it will show up, up to the point it leaves the UK.

1 of my 3 liner orders is leaving the UK for here. Funnily enough it's the last liner order I placed, wonder is it because it's an all Bell oder the CQ finished on them first. Anyways, not long to wait now.

Still waiting for mine to arrive. Ordered a week ago. Think it's cause they were shipped from the UK. The Royal Mail to An Post handover is very slow. If I'd knew they were coming from the UK I'd have used my Belfast PM address to be here quicker. Can't wait for them to finally have some proper buffer stops.

Quick question guys. How come IRM stock is now shipping from the UK? Just got Royal Mail tracking number for the RAWIE buffer packs (Irish Versions). Are they part of the Accurascale brand now or is it a Brexit thing?

There was an IWT liner a week or two ago and the first 6 wagons were all them.

Will we get a heads up incase the Ferts go before they arrive? I want to get 2 bundle packs but the bank account is taking a battering for the next while unfortunately.

Even Mr Bracken has none and said himself they are very rare indeed. I got to Blackrock first thing on Saturday and didn't find any but I did manage to find a few of the rare Mk2Ds in exchange for a Cement A Pack I had surplus.

As per the title. I have been on the look out for a pack of IRM orange bubbles. Last time I picked up a pack was at the Raheny show last year. I went asking around at BlackRock yesterday and there are none in circulation. If anyone is looking to part with a pack or two please get in touch.

Quick question about the model guys. In the samples I notice the brake handle sits proud of the frame rather then being slightly recessed under it. Is this due to model commonality with the 42ft flats?

Just found a book last night (actually 3 editions of Locomotives and Rolling Stock) with the delivery batch production runs but I'm not sure the are 100% correct. 25050-69 built in 1964 25070-94, 100-104 built in 1965 25095-99, 105-119 built in 1967 25120-139 built in 1970 25140-199 built in 1972 (I don't understand what was going on with the production batches in 1965 and 67) Looking at the above and the fact wagon 187 was in grey by photo evidence it pores water on the theory that any bubbles were actually in orange as delivered.

A quick question about the bubble livery. Wasn't the last batch delivered in orange as new due to the staggered batch production? So there should be a set of bubbles that were never in the 1960's grey? If so how is running number 25187 in grey livery if they finished on 199. Small last production run perhaps?

I know you guys are up to your eyes in works but... any more info additions to the 17 strong fleet being released with a brief history, thanks? I love reading up on the history of the A and C classes. If anyone has any good books on them they could recommend chasing up would be great too.

Last year at the Raheny show, I overheard Richie talking to a customer beside me. He said that prior to the A launching, he was working under the impression that the C class was to be IRM's first loco with the A coming later on. Don't know how much tongue in cheek was ment there. From that, I'd take away that work on the C class is alot closer than one may think.....

Quick question, will the final versions be ex works like previous wagons or as the samples. Things like red brake handle and bogie detail picked out like the Tara's and Liners?
