They really look great running behind an 071, can't wait get an A up front. These Taras make you wish the MM 071s had rotating axel caps too, really adds to the running quality. They look great from every angle and just look "right". They really show up the design compromises Murphy had to make with the scale of the 71s in the buffer width spacing. Yet again, top marks lads. More than worth the wait.

Don't know if it's the camera settings but in both pictures the leading end of 074 looks warped at the bogie arch. Body overhaul gone wrong or a bent frame?

074 back in traffic after major overhaul. Don't know when exactly it was released from the core. The taras are now being outshopped in a deeper red lately than the usual oxide brown.

Hope they don't bounce, there's a good bit of weight in them. Currently have 6 of the wagons on as a test and the weight of just them is very impressive. Going to see if I can get 082 here to shift all 20 of them. Going to be good load test haha.

Lucky swine. Enjoy them when they arrive. Explains why the lads have been so quiet last few days on here but they are regular enough on the Deltic on RM web. Glad they finally got here, longest 2 years ever.

Yes that's them. Then the CAWS protectors are the bars that sit proud of the buffer beam with the rail head level grill between them.

Can anyone recommend a display cab wall mounted that can be picked up in store anywhere. Looked at Ikea and nothing really suitable. There's a few on Amazon but with very mixed reviews on quality and defects.

Really, really hoping these are not delayed further but with Dublin Port closed yesterday and Storm Diana Part 2 today, I feel otherwise. These poor taras are on some epic saga getting here but I'm more than sure they are going to be the dogs ying yangs. You guys want any help on your QC on these when they land

Or 2008 and up.... No off the shelf DDs or Mk4s even thouse we have the RTR locos for them. But yeah there is alot of 1950-60s rolling stock that could do with some IRM TLC.

The non DMU one being done under the Accurascale brand is used here too from what I have seen but not as widespread as the IRM one.

For sale I have MM NIR 111,112 and 113 all boxed and never run. Selling for €150 each or can do a deal of €420 for the 3 locos together. Also for sale I have MM 210 River Ern fitted with the MM DCC sound chip. Selling for €150.

I believe they stripped the air con out of the Mk2D and converted to pressure heating like the rest of the RPSI Mk2 set. There are 2 brake gens in that set above, first and last, at least one is powering the train. The RPSI also have 2 Dutch Vans they use with the MK2s, 1 being overhauled at York Road and the other being converted.

Yeah, to give time for the traverser at the unloading terminal on Alexandra Road to be modified to take the length of the 071 class. Suppose the could always have got the loco to run round in the yard then propel the wagons down the tramway if they wanted. BTW anyone know the numbers of the last running A class in IR ownership. I think 051 or 056 off top of my head.

I plan to have at least 1 of each, assuming they don't all sell out first haha. But will mainly focus on the super train, IR and green locos.

Looking that the site. Top 3 sellers are Silver A1, A39r in b and t, 051 in full IR tippex day glow livery. In last place is the all black with yellow panel livery.
