  1. Wow, amazing work. One would be push to tell them apart. To this day I'm stall amazed they sold so well, only managed to get one pack before they were all gone.
  2. There was an announcement by him a few days ago that he's doing another run of Park Royal coaches so it should be still up when sorted.
  3. Didn't know they only did N gauge 3s, pity. Yeah the DRS one looks very nice too. I also like the TPE livery, hope they get it right for release. The factory sample looks off but could be lighting. Suppose the advantage of the DRS is you can use it to haul just bout anything.
  4. Very tempted to pull the trigger on one of these, especially in the Chiltern livery, I just love how they look and the real things sound fantastic, almost like an 071 at times. Plus Dapol have said that they will do Chiltern Mk3s in their next run, hopefully getting the doors right one can hope. An issue that is stopping me is the coupler height, I have noticed a few customers saying its far too low even when not drooping. I have n't seen this mentioned in any reviews though. Anyone here any hands on with them?
  5. Can't wait. You guys are really working wonders behind the scenes.
  6. You guys move fast. Thought the HUO corrections delayed the Tara production run.
  7. Very true, very commendable for such a young company, for the greater good and all that. At the same time it's a shame that issues with AS models delay IRM models but what can you do. Could be worse, we could have nothing at all.
  8. The older type vans or maybe at least one, were still in use up to 2010 at least. Seen at Dromod Engineering siding with 072 doing the honours.
  9. Think it was starting to need a body overhaul to combat corrosion around the time IE repainted 141 and 142 for the RPSI. It's like all the 071s needing body work now despite getting the freight livery repaints between 12-10 years ago. They were just painted but the body panels need replacing and treating. It's 8 years ago the BGMs were painted.
  10. Again, and many thanks to Noel for his pictures, 074 in the works.
  11. Amazing what can happen in 2 years. The tara was only announced at the last show and the bubble on display was an EP model and you guys were squashed in a corner beside a door way. Now look.
  12. For example, on Friday it was saying 120 Tara pack A sold, now it's hurry only few left.
  13. It was working right for a day but now says everything is running low and only few left when not really the case. The stock levels below 30 as is.

    Go Dutch on first date.
  15. Not true, they didn't in the early days of the ballast project but they are all sorted now. Alot when on behind the scenes is all I'm saying.
  16. That a 29K I think. DARTs aren't that shade even with a filter.
  17. I dunno bout that. While I praise Mr Murphy for everything released to date and the standards achieved. the BGMs and Cravens being excellent. The recent releases leave room for improvement and are somewhat lacking imo. The CIE Mk2s, both batches need work out of the box. The Enterprise and NIR 201s, very wrong number font sizes, wrong number locations and livery errors on the NIR 201s. The RPSI Cravens have ride issues as does the latest release of 1509. I'm actually worried for the 121 release as much as I want them and want them to be as good as the BGM and 071 models. If he can match that level of quality again he can take as long as he likes. Think he set the bar too high for himself too early on.
  18. Just wondering are you guys planning to return the stock level feature back on to the shop site when 30 or less packs left? It was there, then removed but I see it's still on the Accurascale site.

That's the same problem that the model suffered from and is still in the new versions. The roof bowing at the ends. Some are effected more than others it's pot luck to get good or bad ones. The IE and Galway ones tended not to suffer from it compared to the CIE models.

After getting home and the shade of orange is no different unfortunately. The black bands are alot straighter but not perfect when viewed up close and they don't match up bang on around the ends at the gangways. The roof bowing issue at the ends is still there too. Yes a big improvement over the last CIE Mk2s but not what I hopped for overall. Especially seeing as these are new models if I didn't know better myself I'd say they were the old stock repainted.

Just got my order from Marks. Only took a quick look at them as I'm in work but they do look a touch shade darker than the old. I won't be able to compare till I'm home later. The paint job is far, far better though as the pictures so far prove.

Thanks, was just wondering did he go with all black ends as some of them had. Another thing that I know has been rasied on this site before. There are some people claiming as of yesterday that these are the returned stock repainted and they back this claim up by the fact there are limited numbers of each and not the usual 512 units per copy. Some close to the main man have stated on here that the old stock was destroyed and these Mk2s are of new tooling made at a new factory.
