  1. There is the one i ordered! Finish looks much better then the comutor models wow!
  2. Because black n tan livery was way easier to keep clean the liveries before or since. Not to mention CIE were good at keeping them clean when they did get dirty
  3. Salt water plus silver paint made C202 look terrible after. Maybe if twad done again they could put it in green or black n tan. There is no space but i could imagine whitehead doing a job like with the CDR tank and putting next to the hunslet and sulzer inside the culta
  4. There is a 50/50 chance that its still put there, nevermind that its a shell with bogeys Shame cause i wanted it to be restored as static display and put in West Coekk, at the moment we could never take on ITG's C226 for multiple reasons. And thats the only way any loco will go there (discounting the ruston 88ds "steam engine" that we already have)
  5. 227 is (kind of but not really) preserved
  6. Lucky for you, I sent the KGB into IRM towers and got this image from them.....or i got it from a youtube video! I dont think we have seen to much of the green variant A class so nice to see, a painted example exists!
  7. Speaking of disguises........ Missed opertunity for a special edition A class!
  8. Seeing the A class sample's on the display cabinet was a treat. With updates galore on IRM/Accurascale. 10 days until all our A class locos are ready to be shipped supposedly!

  9. When i think of interesting station layouts, i always think of killarney, the IR logo station layout!
  10. C226 ITG special edition, all funds going towards the restoration of C226's long restoration project And one for B113 And G601!
  11. If ive learned anything its that buying irish models brand new is a really sound investment
  12. I noticr the wasp design on the roof, i see these the odd time. Were they a short design experiment?
  13. I pre-ordered A30 a few days ago, granted ids say there is a good few of them still around for a while
  14. Well done to all involved! A fantastic achievement for Robert and something that all modellers including some doing English layouts would enjoy. I'll order one for Kinsale junction!
  15. Thats the one. I think the bantry layout thread has one or two of these built from scratch
  16. Some of the grain wagons on thr CBSC were painted in a very nice red for the wood, black for the metal bits and a white lining around the wheels. Granted these were a bit different to what this wagon is, but it was a very spectacular livery. Thats all i can remember from memory!
  17. Would go for 350 euro on ebay for being vintage
  18. They are southern bogey coaches of some description or another. Another thing in the works to make flying snail coaches out of them eventually Eventually there will be. Although i enjoy the idea of one of these being painted like this for an IRRS special!
  19. Meanwhile on the rudimentary Clonakilty junction layout, my west cork freind hass finally finished no.34s decals and front buffer beam along with safter valves ect. I must compliment the job he did of it
  20. I missed half it but sher what can you do when there is 99s to be made....
  21. Ill miss the first half an hour at least, how long is it set up to be?
  22. I think alphagraphix having a website may pull a few more in, they were impossible to find before and what they actually had in stock was word of mouth and photos of kits built by people such as yourself david. And a gmail floating around was the only way of contacting them. A website makes it far easier to at least get a good view of range/kind of models they are
