  1. Hi. I picked mine up today. The coach is a non corridor lav compo. The colours match up well to the Murphys coaches. Another body version to add to the rake.
  2. Hi. I repainted an old Lima 09 to a D301 class.
  3. Hi Colm. From memory the colour as supplied was the darker tan colour. As well as the white logos there was another difference from the Supertrain colour scheme. The 071's had a tan background to the headlight surrounds instead of the usual white. The Murphy Models seem to be accurate representations of these variations.

    Feedback

I'm gobsmacked that it could cost 2k per annum to keep the site running. It's a great resource for Irish modelling and with plenty of banter too. If u need some flyers printed I'd be happy to oblige. Keep up the good work Stephen.
  5. I hope to get there. Looking forward to meeting some of the guys there.
  6. There were at least 2 cars with single stacked containers. What a waste of resources. ; ) Gets coat ready lol. Heading to the door.

    New Arrival

    Congratulations Stephen
  8. Hi I don't think the coach is a Cravens. There seem to be doors near the opposite end. Possibly a brake second laminate?
  9. Ha. I got one of these on ebay a couple of weeks ago for 125stg. 108
  10. The Life of Brian. Esp. The People's Front of Judea v The Judean People's Front. Priceless.
  11. @nigel: u got that right. I'll never forget my first trip to Blessington on a KD. Seasickness comes close.
  12. Done. Pity Paddy is not nominated for manufacturer of the year.

    New IÉ logo...

From a signmakers view this is a bad plan. Solid blocks of colour are much more durable. Anything tunted, that has to be printed will fade very quickly. Solid colours can be produced from coloured vinyl or painted directly to the vehicle. This has all the hallmarks of a design by committee.
  14. Hi babyGM. Bell containers were a common sight in the70's and 80's on liner trains all over the country.
  15. Going to war without France is like going deerhunting without your accordion. General H. Norman Swartzkopf RIP
  16. That mission to Burma has certainly come u trumps. It's a shame that some of the more unusual types have not been so lucky.
  17. I'd be in the queue too if you decide to run another batch.
  18. This guy was on the news today and the council saw the video and fixed the pothole. Result
  19. Jhb. Definitely worth passing on if u get a chance. The day to day stuff is what makes most models believable. Keep up the great work.
  20. Best wishes to everyone for the new year. Paul B
  21. Definitely. All I need is enough space for Inchicore Works. Perfect excuse to run anything Irish.
  22. Lol.

    A sad loss.

Sad loss indeed. I spent many a childhood evening attempting to recreate his brilliant shows. RIP
  24. Hi BosKonay. They were livery experiments before the 201's arrived. Never ran in service.
