Thanks Tony, my knowledge of buses is nil so that's very helpful.. I'm still on the hunt for the CIE Buses in Red and White livery, I know Jim Poots did some many years ago before I had an interest in this hobby but none are available now.
Andy you have a nice collection of Corporation Buses and the depot sets them off really well.
Looking forward to seeing this part finished.
You must be getting near the end?
I would go with Des's suggestion, I used some from the Wizard 5L range as they are easy to cut up.

AEC Railcars. I had completed a Worsley Works Kit for the GNR Railcar and added an SSM K15 coach to make up a 3 Car Set a month ago but whenever I set the coach on the rails it shorted. I tried everything I could but it was not until Colm Flanagan suggested changing the wheel sets did I resolve the problem. Now all is running well round Kirley Junction.
There is a second AEC Railcar in this video in UTA livery supplied by Silver Fox.
CIE Mk II Supertrain. Resprayed the Murphy Model coaches and gave them their first run today. 023 and 088 doing the honours.
Still haven't managed recording and using the controller at the same time, please excuse the camera jumping about.
The decals supplied with the recent Murphy Models MkII Supertrain coaches show (I think) 'No Smoking' signs and Catering signs, see sample below.
Two questions:
1. Were 'No Smoking' signs in use in 1972-3 when the Supertrain coaches were launched?
2. Where on Dinner 5403 are the 'Network Catering' signs located?
Colour difference.
I got some Mk II Supertrain coaches sometime ago but have never ran them. Finally got around to blowing some CIE Golden Brown paint over them. A couple of pictures to show the colour variation.
AEC Railcars.
A 3 car set comprising of 2 AEC Powercars and a K15 coach in GNR livery. They are built from brass kits, AEC from Worsley Works and the K15 coach from SSM.
An evening stop at Kirley Junction.
A SSM Bredin Parcel/Brake coach just after getting the new CIE Black & Tan livery along with a rake of mixed coaches.
Plus 2 Provincial Wagon kits, GNR Coal Wagons.
