  1. A nicely finished wagon. I used Parkside Dundas Plate Wagon chassis (PC16) which has wheelbase of 15' to build my rake of 7 Vans.
  2. I picked up one of these a while back on ebay. Some bits missing as well as extra bits from another model. Made a nice wagon.
  3. Love the extra details you are adding Eamonn.

  13. Thanks Dave, I've built a few white metal MIR kits and they were a bit of a challenge. Thanks for posting these and making the sacrifice of 'opening the box'.
  14. Tasty!
  15. Delightful, scenes from the past beautifully recreated.
  16. This gauge is designed for those who build their own wagons not for RTR!
  17. I have always struggled to get coupling heights right when building wagons. The other day I came across a piece of scrap UVPA and discovered it sat neatly over my 4mm track. I tested a RTR Wagon and found I had to add a shim of plasticard to get the height exact. Now it's a straight forward height test, how I wished I had thought of it earlier in my modelling career.
  18. Looking forward to seeing this progress, especially with your servo motors setup. I suppose this will be a bit of a "Busman's" holiday for you. Based on your previous work this will be a class layout.
  19. No need for apologies jhb, delighted to see your pictures whatever way they are. Sent you a PM re pictures.
  20. jhb can you re-post the missing pictures please?

  22. Yes Nelson, on one side only.
  23. I wondered what happened to your layout Vincent and after 12 months absence it's good to see you back. Looking forward to progress in 2015.
  24. Had a go at scratch building some UTA Brown Vans. I'm building seven wagons, 5 with a 15' wheelbase and 2 with a 14' wheelbase. This is the first go.
