Were not all 3 NIR Class 111’s used on the Enterprise Service until they were replaced in 1995 with the arrival of the 208 Class?

Have a look at Scalescene, and use the buildings flat, http://www.scalescenes.com/products/TO10-Low-Relief-Flats or take some photographs and print them off yourself is another option.

Congratulations Noel on your first year, what have you planned for the next 12 months?

Perhaps you might consider a backscene of other buildings to help tie in your row of flats - only a though?

The attention to detail raises the standard of this re-paint and the colour looks fairly accurate.

I used clear Perspex as a cover but underneath I printed out my track diagram on glossy Photograph paper. I bought the Perspex at my local Hardware store and it was half the price Homebase was charging. If you go back to pages 22 & 23 on this thread there are some pictures there.

The new layouts from South Dublin -Lucan South and NDMRS – revamped Ballyclare were my favourites.

Just back from the Bangor Show and had to try out the 2 new coaches from Murphy Models, the Gen Van and the Restaurant Car. Just something different about this rake.

It’s great to see something different and your neglected backstreet scene is just that and looks the part. Seeing what’s around you and depicting it on your layout gives that sense of realism and brings it to life. Well done Stephen. Like your security fencing, who is your supplier? Now that the engineering works have finished (for a while) does anyone know the location of 8111 & 8113? I haven't see either about York Road Works.

A word of warning to anyone travelling by road to the North Down Model Railway Exhibition this weekend. Re surfacing is to take place on the A2 Belfast to Bangor Road on the outskirts to Bangor. This usually means 2 lanes becoming one so delays will be inevitable. Wrenneire, (a fine stature of a man of distinctive appearance) should be at the Chris Dyer Stand and would be an excellent rallying point for members to meet. Hope he does not mind being volunteered for this challenging role.

I find it hard to believe it was a year ago that I began this project. It started from a “green field site” on the 11 April with the erection of the Shed. Then came the fitting out and it was mid May before I was able to start putting up the benches. BosKonay asked for photo update of the layout overview so here goes, Kirley Junction April 2013: ] As you can see the new centre section boards are in place so plenty of work still to do never mind finishing off parts of the layout round the edge.

I would have an interest if the models would be available this year.
