  2. Hi NIRCLASS80, From your videos and phots that looks a superb layout. Very impressive and a lot of work has gone into it. Why don't you initially email a few sample images to the editor of Railway Modeller with maybe a link to this thread of your layout and take it from there. Email railway-modeller@btconnect.com Regards, John
  3. You may be better off with Railway Modeller as they do publish articles on Irish layouts. Model rail don't do overseas articles, as I made enquires to them once.
  4. Provisionally sold pending payment. Now SOLD.

  6. Hi Eoin, Yes it is still available at the moment. Regards, John
  7. I like the description of this coach, It says brand new and sealed! When I originally got mine they were sold in packs of two not individually.
  8. Almost £145.00 for one coach!!! I will have to sell mine if that's what they are going for.
  9. Agree, weren't the 141/181s done by Bachmann for Murphy Models at the time?
  10. What do you mean by that comment?
  11. Would be nice if they could adopt something on the lines of the Hatton's site with live stock updates. I recently ordered some items from Marks via their website and it said items where in stock, few days later got phone call to say two items where not available and they were unavailable at Hornby, but having looked on the Hornby site they were available to order direct. Incidentally I have just received one or the items that I could not get at Marks from Hatton's for only £2.80 postage. We are kept being told to buy 'local' but its not easy.
  12. So if purchased from UK, presumably we would then have to pay the Irish VAT, plus customs and import charges and and handling and any other charges on top of that. No more model railway bargains then

  18. Had a great time in Cultra at the Ulster Folk & Transport Museum model railway day with my SVLR layout which was very well received by the show visitors. It was a very good show with all the various layouts set amongst the 12" - 1' exhibits.
