Now, that would be the ultimate wishlist, as well as the Hunslets I might add. Having said that, I have built, with more to do,the Provincial wagons spoil wagons (having watched the real one's growing up), and have thoroughly enjoyed building them, well done Leslie. A few years ago at one of the shows can't remember which one, their was someone, again can't remember who, they had two jeeps pulling a long take of spoil wagons, impressive to say the least.

MRSI Dublin Show 2024 - All New Venue - All in One Hall
John-r replied to Blaine's topic in What's On?
Thanks very much Flying Snail for taking the time to reply, it was very helpful and much appreciated. looking at Google maps, which I never thought to do in the first place, the parking does seem very limited and I couldn't see much local parking, also after driving three hours from Kerry getting the Luas to the City centre then a bus followed by doing all that to Get home, does seem to look like a bit of an ordeal. PLEASE no-one take this the wrong way, it's just my initial observations and if anyone has any solutions (except stay at home then) for close by parking I'm all ears. Thank you. -
MRSI Dublin Show 2024 - All New Venue - All in One Hall
John-r replied to Blaine's topic in What's On?
Evening All, could anyone please tell me what the new Dublin city Traffic Management System involves, as can I drive from the red cow down past Heuston station along the quays, past Connolly station then to the show, or are you diverted some other way of would it just be easier taking the M50 northbound then doubling back into the City, hope this makes sence, thanks lads . -
Thanks very much Fowler4f for your informative reply, speaker sounds like it's more than up for the job. Haven't bought a decoder yet, have looked at roads and rails as well as wheeltappers alright, things looking a bit pricey from UK at the moment, appreciate your help.

Hi All. Does anyone know what type of speaker is in the mm 071s , I'm thinking of installing sound in one and wondering do they come with a fairly decent speaker just or would it need upgraded and to which type, excuse the novice questions, TIA. cheers John.

Stunning looking wagons, really spoilt for choice these days, two packs on order, wasn't going to miss out on these babies, unlike the grain wagons too slow to hit the button, great work once again lads .
-
Nice one, your going to really like these wagons DJ.

What exhibition is this Dave, must have missed this. Received my wagons a few days ago, have to say they are well up there, great detail with a good weighty feel to them and surprisingly the black livery really looks class, another winner, thanks lads .
-
Brilliant, I walked straight into that one
-
Just received my despatch email, they are on the way to Kerry, take heart lads, won't be long now.
-
Couldn't have put it any better myself, well said, the coaches really stand out on this layout, well done. Did I miss the Dutch vans being released for these coaches
-
I was just about to do an unboxing video against a clear blue sky for you, but realised it's raining in Kerry as well
-
You definitely won't be disappointed Philip, they are pure class looking.
-
Just received my two packs, really blown away by the detail, colour scheme and box art, these coaches are on a different level altogether, really well done lads . I won't put up any photos as they are the same as the two lads post above. ( also I'm still not sure how to put up my own photos yet, but don't tell anybody).
-
Thanks Stephen for the speedy reply, I suppose just constantly check the emails closer to release date. Cheers.
-
Wow, they really look the part, Fantastic addition to the range, well done, now the big question, for those of us who foolishly missed out on ordering these, will more be made, or will we have to see if any are left. We really are being spoilt for choice these days.
-
Suppose we better include the Dutch vans, both types.
-
Same here, I had one mixed order with bullied opens and flats, the opens arrived but no flats, showing as a part order, I'm sure it's just a minor hiccup and by Monday, Tuesday latest, it's going to be all good, worth waiting for. Just beat me to it Stephen, slow typing on my part.

Hi Lads, Thanks to you all that replied to my query, especially DJ Dangerous, bit of a minefield isn't it, so basically in my post above, it now looks like I'm better off buying my item from Germany, all things considered I'll still make a bit of a saving. Cheers John.
-
Thanks DJ, I was coming up with a different figure each time, what was throwing me was the UK postage if that was included in Irish vat calculations or not, Appreciate it.

Hi All, hope everyone is enjoying the bank holiday and . I'm looking for a bit of help and advice, basically I'm looking to buy a loco either from rails of Sheffield or Modelbahnunion, it's a DRS class 20, so vat deducted its costing £149.99+ £15 shipping then vat at this side plus any other charges which I'm not sure about, from Germany it's €232 +13 postage. So which is the better deal as I cannot figure out the final price from UK, sorry a bit long winded, I can't seem to get my head around it but any help or advice really appreciated. Thanks John.

Jaysus !, Got caught out not ordering these myself, hope I'm quick enough if some are left over. Lovely looking wagon.
