  1. While we're veering away from discussion of the IRM A Class, the chance of a new run of the old 141/181 tooling is pretty slim to none.
  2. Or later
  3. If it helps with planning we have a small announcement in the next few weeks,, then something in April, something powered in late April/ Early May, something else in June, something else in July, and August and September and October (also powered)
  4. Other than new tooled magnesite wagons and mark 2 coaches and blue Tara’s and all the in stock items on irm and many announcements to come this year the challenge with IRM is that it’s about 10% of the size of the UK market so the UK side simply supports more stuff at a quicker pace
  5. If your family and friends want gift ideas, just send them to https://irishrailwaymodels.com/products/gift-card Can spend online (and in person if we get back to shows) and they NEVER expire (why would they, it's your money after all!)
  6. Sound fitted means all the speakers and chip installed ready to go. Dcc ready usually means no chip but a socket for one and in some cases without a speaker.
  7. Numbers aren’t fully finalized until decoration stage.
  8. 1000 units is the minimum full stop for RTR
  9. We've SLA printed items in the past, primarily as a 'test print' to check details of a model. The last locomotive we so printed, printing out about 1/3 of the total parts the final model would have, cost £3,900 for ONE locomotive. (and it had to be hand assembled, obviously)
  10. Exactly that, we listed the available 201s, Cravens, Mark 2's and then the 121's when they landed (selling a very large % of the run) on the Irish railway models website. It made a lot of sense with our simple logistics and website, to offer a 'one stop shop' for those looking for Irish models, which is why we also stock Oxford die cast models suitable for Irish layouts, and have commissioned a number of buses in bespoke liveries from Britbus. In this regard, Murphy Models were supplier, and IRM retailer. IRM and Accurascale are essentially the same, with a shared pool of manpower, resources, and factories.
  11. Might be some ‘latching’ set on? Does anything happen when you switch on and off the horn function?
  12. Great photos of how wide the bogies should be.
  13. Don't worry, we'll give it at least a week to the next announcement
  14. Ballast, Gypsum, Magnesite, Cement Bubbles are pretty much yer lot for that chassis!
  15. Well if you buy two or more packs, it works out at just £75 a pack / £25 a \chassis/
  16. Absolutely ! A set of three, with extra detailing parts just 99.95! https://irishrailwaymodels.com/collections/ballast-hoppers/products/ir-ballast-wagon-pack-c
  17. 10% is added in the cart when you buy two or more.
  18. and watch this space for some collaborations
  19. Wow! Time to have a rummage in the attic!
  20. Heh. Correct. I was simply giving the ballpark that at best you are looking at a year from engineering samples to delivery. And that’s if you can nail down factory slots. So once you’ve seen physical samples you can assume anything is about a year or so away.
  21. Not wishing to speak for Mr. Murphy but with timelines as they are in China at the moment, we shared fully finished tooling samples of the Mark 2b coaches last August and we should have them in stock by this August.
  22. Presume he means mk2’s.
