I think the volume of Irish modelers has grown and that the days of a €300 model are still some distance away unless you are making a really really small limited run of something.

While we're veering away from discussion of the IRM A Class, the chance of a new run of the old 141/181 tooling is pretty slim to none.

Sound fitted means all the speakers and chip installed ready to go. Dcc ready usually means no chip but a socket for one and in some cases without a speaker.

We've SLA printed items in the past, primarily as a 'test print' to check details of a model. The last locomotive we so printed, printing out about 1/3 of the total parts the final model would have, cost £3,900 for ONE locomotive. (and it had to be hand assembled, obviously)

Exactly that, we listed the available 201s, Cravens, Mark 2's and then the 121's when they landed (selling a very large % of the run) on the Irish railway models website.
