Hi George, I have thought of that and I am also keeping a thought on it. The ones listed are in IE and Supertrain. I have to do some research when I finish my working day later on to see if I am willing to renumber a loco or not.

I have that one, I am looking for MM0082, MM0088 and MM0077. I know that MM7078, are like gold to pick up so I am not even going to try unless I get very lucky.

It is getting crazy with the prices on eBay, I know everyone is entitled to ask what they want for their models an it looks like there are people out there that will pay them prices, as long as people will keep buying models at crazy prices, the more and more we will see of prices going up. I was going to start looking for 3 071s and trying to keep an eye out for them, I wonder what prices they would command at the moment on eBay.

I ordered the iPhone speakers that @murphaph advised, I read on Joe's post and I do not fancy trimming much inside the loco, hence why I went with it. The speaker that I used in one, it did require me taking a little off the speaker bracket that is inside the loco so I am waiting for the iPhone speakers to turn up at this side of the large pond.

I am wondering, what would be a good speaker today for a Murphy Models Class 141/181? I got a speaker for a 141 in my local store, but I am not very happy with the sound from it, I think I need something better, before I go about and get more speakers as to be honest, I have brought a few to see how things go, what would others suggest could be a better fit, I got a soundtraxx speaker currently in my 141.

Pleased to advise order arrived today, I am going to wait until tomorrow before testing it out as it is below freezing here for a couple of months at this stage.

The mail train ran I think until the 90s with a 121 pulling it from memory on the Cork/Dublin line as I think it would have been at Charleville station at approx 4:30pm. Ammonia's I am pretty sure also ran, Cements, Tara's, Ballast. I am sure someone else will mention something or correct me on what I have thought of

Charlie got back to me today to advise my order has shipped, provided me with the tracking number and I hope that it will arrive in the next couple of weeks, now to hope that it gets delivered in the next couple of weeks. Over to USPS, as it should be in the US next week. Praying that it gets through them and US customs quick enough.

To be fair, Charlie did advise I was a little short on the payment, I paid what I thought was fine when I was making the purchase. Maybe ordering trains after a few beers, not the best thing in the world to do, however, I promptly sent the balance that was owed and hopefully keep things on track for shipping this week. With some model railway stores closing over the years, and for the life of me, I cannot think of the store names, there was one in Belfast that closed down, another one was the awesome store in Portlaoise, Graham's toymaster, I hate to see them close. I only got to visit the store once, I thought it was an awesome shop. I was hoping that DC Kits was not another store that closed. It seems fewer places we can go to shop for model trains, of course the service I have gotten and help from IRM themselves, I have to also thank them. Thanks again to everyone, I do appreciate everyone and @Old Blarney if you did speak to Charlie about this one, I am thankful to you also. I do wish no hard feelings to anyone.

All, Happy to report, Charlie has emailed me a couple of times and we maybe getting this issue resolved. It seems that there are issues with shipping costs that I was not aware of, I did pay the shipping cost from the website when I was making my purchase, hopefully we get this resolved ASAP and hoping my loco gets shipped before end of the week. I do appreciate all replies to this thread, once again I am sorry for bringing up bad memories for members on this, I know everyone is trying to help.

@Old Blarney I would like to apologize if I came across as aggressive to your post, I know that you were only advising the methods of contacting him. I am using email as I do not have an international plan on my phone so I will need to get credit to make a call to the UK. I do appreciate you trying to help, honestly I do. I was only confirming that indeed I was using the correct email address to make contact with him. I will email him one more time today to see what happens. I will update if Charlie responds to me. As people may notice, I do not post much, I do not like to cause issues for other members as I do respect everyone on here. I would like to thank everyone on this forum, I do visit almost everyday.

I asked the question here as I was not sure of anyone else having issues with DC Kits. I had emailed twice last week with no reply, I do agree that a business should reply to a email within 48 hours max. I was wondering if they were still in business. A quick update on the status of my order is all I am looking for. If I ever had an issue with an order from any other online store, I reach out to them. I hate to ask on a forum about any orders that I have with a store but when I was not getting a response in over a week to an email, it does make one wonder, if they are still in business. Hence why I asked the question here. I did email again last night to see if he would at least update me on the status of my order. I was hoping to get this last 121 from the run released by Murphy Models to complete the collection. It would be fine if he advised if the order shipped or what is going on with it. I do like to give a man a chance and I am still hoping to see if my order gets shipped or at least get an update on what is going on with it. I did, I thought allow time for the holidays to give DC Kits a chance to get back to me, but I wait still. I do like to thank everyone that posted here on their thoughts and experiences, if it has started issues between members, that was not my intention. I was honestly asking, because I heard nothing back to emails that I have sent so far, to know if they were still in business or not. I hate to see a business go under, I was hoping to find that DC Kits are indeed still in business and hopeful that my order does ship from them.

Thanks for the replies on this one, I did get a 071 a few years ago from him and I do not recall any issues. I was hoping that my locomotive that I purchased, MM0133 would ship as he seemed to be the only one that has it in stock. I guess I will have to wait another while to see what happens.

I placed an order with DC Kits over the holiday period, the order is processing since the 3rd, I have emailed twice to them and nothing back, last week, I am starting to get concerned. Does anyone know if they are still in business?

I have been keeping an eye on this post as well the 071 is a loco I love. I too would like to get more of them but I am wondering do Model Irish Railways still see the resin kit for the 071? Also what would be a suitable donor chassis for a 071?

That is about all you can do? Not sure if you can reach out to Wilson and request to be added as an admin to the site, explain that you were the original admin for it and see if you can get anywhere. I always try to set a password for an account using the mindset, a password that should be difficult for someone else to hack over than what is an easy password for me to remember.

Would you happen to have the link to your own facebook group for your page? Just to confirm the URLs for both groups, to rule out a re-direct to the group that Wilson is an admin of. Another question, was the group creation date is the same as yours?

Was there anyone else setup as an admin for the group besides yourself?
