  1. I showed top and tail Hunslets with the early livery at a couple of the bangor exhibitions several years ago and it does look good....
  2. I remember working at oxford street bus depot and watching the GM,s pull coaches out onto the bangor line at the River Lagan bridge and running round the coaches there and then going back into platform 2 after the run round.
  3. Hunslets did work top and tail, then they worked push pull with driving trailer at Belfast end.
  4. Rails of Sheffield still have some left at £124.50 plus postage.

  6. Yeah it would have got dirty very quickly, which is why it didn't last long and the UTA went in favour of the Brunswick Green....

Hi richrua you can buy various stripes for lining any coach they come in different widths etc and there are model transfer companies that make up various stripes for your needs, Railtec might have what your looking for ask Steve in Railtec what your modelling and I am sure he will help you out.   12. I think Duck Egg Blue is a close shade of the Catherwood blue that was used on some of the UTA railcars.....

  14. Andy are you thinking of Mabex Transfers??? They did do UTA and NIR motifs because I bought loads of them years ago. Colin.
  15. Bleachgreen was by all accounts was kept tidy by the UTA and NIR (in the early days) Grass cutting and hedge cutting took place quite often, but the viaduct would need weathering a bit as did get dirty by the time NIR took over in 1968..
