I've just had one of these oscillating saw/sanders from Lidl - http://www.lidl.co.uk/cps/rde/xchg/lidl_uk/hs.xsl/index_38690.htm - I can imagine times when it could come in handy on baseboard construction. I once had to install a coal-drop into a rectangular hole in a chipboard sheet. For thirty quid, if you need it once, then you've got your money back...

  20. Trackwise, yes - it's 45mm track as Gauge 1, but LGB stuff is 1/22.5 scale to model a narrow-gauge scenario..
