  8. Does anyone have a copy of Norman Johnstons GNRi locomotive book for sale as it seems to be out of print. If not, is there a resource l can use to reference locomotives that is accurate?
  9. Does anyone know who holds the copyright of the Late Rev John Parker and Norman Simmons. Both collections seem to held at an address in Godalming, Surrey. I have some of these photographs and am keen to know of the owner/keeper of his work. Another photographer is Rev. Drummond Gillespie......

  19. Galteemore, thank you for your reply. I don't imagine an 0-6-0 pulling the nine carriages of an ambulance train on the mainline ferrying wonder soldiers from the battlefields of France.
  20. On 1st May 1915 the ambulance train arrived in Omagh pulled by loco no. 178. Anyone any clue on the class of this 4-4-0 and anything on it's history?

  23. Trust my luck. My daughter bought a house in Bangor, just 5mins from the Venue but alas i am basking in the sun in Adelaide and sorry that i’ll miss out this time. Have fun, everyone.
