They look great and really come to life when they are weathered. In my opinion certain models only come to life and makes them look more realistic with a little weathering. I don't think they were ever pristine only when they were new like most railway freight wagons. Thanks Darius Enda

Outstanding work and they really look as realistic as one can get a model. Keep up the good work and thanks for your business. Enda

Wagon kits for 1960s and 1970s
Past-Avenue replied to west_clare_wanderer's question in Questions & Answers
Hi west_clare_wanderer I'll be at the show in limerick this weekend if you are around and can see all the stuff that I'm printing in the flesh. I started doing body's to fit onto the Dapol prestwin chassis as you could just buy one rake of chassis and change the body's to suit what you want to run on your layout. I then got asked for Irish chassis and I have a 20ft and 22'6 in the range. I have a number of other RTR wagons that might interest you which can be found on the website. I have everything in stock most of the time and if you want you can purchase one and try it before you commit to a rake etc. Enda Ckprints.ie -
I've added another livery to the 30 ton brake van's in OO Gauge. Also I'm doing N Guage version's RTR now in the 4 liveries. These require couplings as they are not like the OO with the standard NEM pockets. I've attached some pictures and all can be easily purchased from my website ckprints.ie Enda

Hi. I'll be attending the Wexford show this weekend with a good stock of everything that I'm printing including a few new items and some O Guage wagons. If you need anything put by please pm and I'll make sure you are not disappointed.

Hi Maitland In my experience you are best to print as one complete wagon. I have tried to print roofs separately and could not get them to my satisfaction and I now print as one unit. The ranks grain wagon is the only one that I print in three parts and it works out fine. If you need any further information please feel free to contact me. Enda

Hi Paul. First thing is this is John's design and all credit goes to him. I'm printing them in 3 pieces, painting and putting on decals, and assembling them. I have made a few small changes to get my printer to print them successfully in 16.5 mm . I'll be supplying them RTR in a few liveries (I'm still working on it) but if someone wants 21mm or it in kit form I can do that no problem just pm me. At the moment I'm waiting on my decal supplier and when that is sorted they'll be able shortly after. Enda

Hi I've just started working on a few pre CIE Era wagons and this is a great idea LNERW1. This would work for one of the wagons that is in the pipeline and I will give it a try and see how it works out. Enda Ckprints.ie

Hi guys, I use tinkercad for all my 3d prints except JM DESIGN'S. It was new to me when I started printing but I stuck with it. There’s loads of tutorials on YouTube to help you out. I'm finding it great and user-friendly and would recommend it. Enda

That turned out really well and it will even look better when you weather it. It's nice to see someone been able to finish a model that you have to look twice at it to see if it's a model or the real thing. Well done Graham and thanks. Enda
