Exciting times for you!

My resolve is holding strong at present, despite seeing both the models and the real thing in Derby recently.

This month's budget has mostly been blown on house maintenance and a long weekend in Belfast.

I'll have to be patient with IRM as they have a lot on at present, but of course I already have a backlog of projects in the stash and hopefully some new antipodean kits to build soon.

Certainly looked like it. Gobshites packing these things never seem capable of thinking, hey, this is gonna travel 4000km, let’s pack it well. At least they remembered the AccuraEnds, so even though it was bouncing around inside with three pieces of brown paper, the box looks nice - as does the loco!

They're also in stock at Accurascale.

I'll save my cash for a C class. Or I might yet buy that secondhand green A class on eBay to give me something to haul my green Park Royals. It's about the same price but at least it would suit my theme.

I’m kicking myself for not buying an extra green A or two back in the day. I felt that for the silvers and greens, the photos never quite did them justice. To the naked eye, they are something else.

If all goes well, on Saturday I’ll be riding behind an A. If that’s not enough to make me want to buy another, I don’t know what will…

But there’s an outside chance of some for sale at the Belfast show too.
