They hold a model railway exhibition each year which unfortunately coincides with the Enniskillen Show. We alternate each year and plan to show my "Buffers Lock" at Bala next year. "The Stone Yard" looked great at Enniskillen - have you got DCC sound on board each loco? Best, Gerry & Jenna Hi Gerry and Jenna, Many thanks for this link to Bala Lake and Alice's history. I knew a little bit about her story but this was a fascinating read. What a survivor! And what a tale of determination and dedication! Alice is the only loco with sound at the Stone Yard. So far It was a pleasure to talk to you both at Enniskillen. Regards, Alan 1 Quote

Simply outstanding. Thank you David. I got a lot of satisfaction out of building it and it's quite enjoyable to operate too. At the risk of putting a jinx on it, it's turned out to be fairly robust as well, having survived 4 outings this year without the need for any serious surgery. 'The Stone Yard' was just a fall-back title. It should probably be called Costa Sheds, given the quantities of re-purposed timber it contains 4 1 Quote
