The NZ Fieldays largest agricultural event in the Southern Hemisphere aimed mainly at the at the pastoral and forestry sectors held June (early winter) during the quiet period before the calving and lambing seasons when farmers have to work around the clock.. In the same vein, because it's held on tillage land it has to wait until the harvest is over and the land becomes available.
