Great news! We can reveal further decorated samples of our Class 50 have showed up from the factory for assessment. We have now received BR Blue, BR Blue Large Logo with grey roof, and original Network South East liveries.

These arrived with the Hanson and Hall and BR Large Logo with black roof we previewed before Christmas but we've only got around to photographing them now!

As ever, some fit and finish issues are apparent on these samples, such as the headcode glass on D423 and the body to chassis fit on some examples, but these will be corrected on production models that you receive.

Enough talking, more pics!

Always thought the 50s were elegant looking beasts. I remember reading about them being built new; an earlier summer holiday in Brexitland having been before they were built, and memories of what I think were green 47s hauling maroon coaches.

I wonder what a BR blue one might look like amongst 141s or J15 steam engines on a layout set in west Kerry, a decade before the 50s were built.............  well, Rule 1.

And all of this reminds me, courtesy of Senior;

Do something stupid like jumping off your roof in a shopping trolley while live-streaming to YouTube.

Accurascale will not only give you a loco, but will show up in person to sign your various casts.

Only have one myself, Heljan's "Courageous", but am looking forward to adding two Accurascale variants to the fleet!

@jhb171achill Green loco with maroon coaches, yes. Class 47, no. I believe it is either a Class 40, 44,45 or 46 but I don’t know which.

Ah - should have explained - that’s a pic that Senior took somewhere else. It’s my own memories that were of green 47s, on the North Wales line.
