Hi all .

I've recently started into 3d printing and have made a few small bits that were missing from my models ie...wipers/ horns and tail lights.  All of these parts were either unavailable to buy or hard to replace. The tail lamps and warning boards sit onto the lamp irons just like the real thing and can be moved from loco to loco or wagons that have lamp iron details.  I pushed myself and attempted to produce the double height beet wagon.  I designed it from pictures and videos and to fit onto the Dapol prestwin chassis without any need for glue etc...and had positive feedback that it looked passable with the modelers licence.

My idea is that, if you have a rake of prestwin chassis you can change the body's and keep your costs down. I am currently working on other projects that will suit the chassis so they are interchangeable.

I have attached some pictures of the stuff that I've made and the costs below. If you would like anything please pm me.

Hi all

I've printed the early steel sided cement wagon as in the picture. Again I've drawing them from pictures and videos to get as much detail as I can and that I can print and I'm pleased with the results. These wagons are designed to fit onto the Dapol prestwin chassis without any need for glue etc. I'm producing them and if your looking for some or any of the other 3D items I'm doing please Pm please. Enda

Hi I've finally got these wagons done and I'm printing them now.  They were used on the Foynes to Ballina Asahi coal and oil train from the early 70s to late 90s. A variation of the tanker was used as a water barrier on the Ammonia train.
Coal body €12
Tanker  €15
These sit snugly on the Dapol prestwin chassis witch can be purchased from Marks Models or other model shops.
If you would like some of these or any of the other 3D items I'm doing please Pm.
Thanks to Noel Enright for all the help in getting the information etc

Not my scale, not my era, not my thing, but these are terrific and ideal way for people to dip their toe into doing some modelling for themselves. Great work!!

Thanks Galteemore  and it's opened up a whole new way to model and make items yourself. At the end of the day it's about the enjoyment we get from it and not a competition.

The gauge aligns the NEM pocket at the correct height and depth from the buffers and sits snugly over the rails. I also have the NEM pockets aswell in stock.  I'm currently working on other types of NEM pockets for the lima boggies etc but not there yet. If you would like anything that I'm printing please pm.l

I had another look at this and wondered how they might look in company with the new IRM standard beet wagon. Or would they fit on the IRM triangulated wagon chassis?

Hi I'm not sure as I don't have any of IRMs chassis but I would be able to resize my wagons to suit if required and help people to achieve what they want for their layout.

Very impressive work. Have you ever thought about making conversion parts for a BSK / BCK generator steam van?

Hi I'm currently working on conversions for the old Dapol and Lima boggies and hopefully have them sorted out soon.

Thanks

Hi all. I've add 2 more NEM pockets to the ltems I'm printing.  Below in the first picture is a NEM pocket that can be screwed up to a chassis and will allow it to swivel if you want to use magnetic couplings or fixed tie bar's etc. The bottom 2 pictures are a NEM pocket to suit the Dapol prestwin chassis to replace the one that comes with the kit . The pocket height gauge is €5 and NEM pockets are €1 a pair . If you would like anything please pm me.
