Paul-B145 Posted February 21 Posted February 21 (edited) I too have just joined and would like to say hello to everyone. Brief background: I used to have a model railway in the attic until I moved away as an adult to a house that has the DART line at the end of the garden (a childhood dream come true) but I lost interest in model railways. 40 odd years later and the model railway gene has very recently reasserted itself with a vengeance. I find it hard to believe how much things have advanced like DCC and the quality of what's on offer. I have no room in the house for a layout but that hasn't stopped me from starting a collection of locos and rolling stock. It's a pity that the resurrected interest didn't happen about 5 years sooner. Anyway, hello everyone. Paul-B145 Edited February 21 by Paul-B145 12 1

It might be the only realistic solution to my lack-of-space problems. 2
cudf Posted February 23 Posted February 23 (edited) Hi, even though I've joined a while I might also take the opportunity now to say hello. Like Paul, I recently got back into model railways. Initially I came on looking for information on Kadee couplings and have kept coming back and found it a great source of tips and information on Irish railways, so thank you to everyone. Like Paul I'm short on space so have stuck with a small shunting diorama as a way to present the stunning models IRM / Accurascale have made! regards Finbarr Edited February 23 by cudf Correction 6
