My nephew Chris is a self employed carpenter, I'm well pleased with the result, looking forward to getting cork glued down and then track sorted

Hi All, Quick update, I’ve started the track work on the fiddle yard first, mainly to test if I could get ten storage roads and it works. All the track is Peco streamline OO gauge with the points being at least medium radius and electrofrog. The storage roads are numbered 1-10 from the wall outwards, 1 and 2 are 11ft long and will be doubled powered with DC and DCC through double pole double throw (DPDT) switches, I still have quite a few DC powered locos waiting conversion to DCC. Roads 3-4are 8ft the remaining are 7ft so I can have some good scale length trains running. The roads have a distance of 15mm from sleeper edge to edge, I took inspiration form Everard Junction’s video, where he placed his at 12mm, and there is still room to get your fingers in between the rolling stock. So permanent fitting begins shortly with wiring and fixing each point in place, complete with Seep PM1 point motors. If anyone can add or give any constructive feed back/advice that would improve before I begin it would be most welcome. Thanking you all for your interest thus far. Regards Ray
