VIDEO .2.9.18.  GM 073 with the Belmond Grand Hibernian Train passes Memorial Road Dublin heading from Dublin Connolly  to Waterford unfortunately i got caught out again at this location by an ICR set .

Nice clip. How do they heat and power the coaches? Pity loco was going backwards.

I believe they stripped the air con out of the Mk2D and converted to pressure heating like the rest of the RPSI Mk2 set. There are 2 brake gens in that set above, first and last, at least one is powering the train. The RPSI also have 2 Dutch Vans they use with the MK2s, 1 being overhauled at York Road and the other being converted.

That's sounds fair enough but how is the coach cooled during warm weather, with no opening windows?

VIDEO. 3.8.14. GM 206 passes Lisburn on a withdrawn stock transfer of Irish Rail MK3 carriages from Dundalk to Adelaide Permanent Way Depot Belfast for scrapping.
