Warbonnet Posted December 16, 2013 Posted December 16, 2013 Hornby range for 2014 announced here http://www.hornby.com/shop/2014-range/ Intercity HST and coaches, Coal class 60 and maybe some of the Mark II's for me. Nice range it has to be said.
BosKonay Posted December 16, 2013 Posted December 16, 2013 Lovely selection of stuff, tho very little modern image for my liking! Couple of lovely new HST rakes tho, and the addition of lighting as standard looks interesting, as does the 25 pound DCC sound options...
BosKonay Posted December 16, 2013 Posted December 16, 2013 Actually just spotted this pretty little thing Network Rail Class 08 diesel shunter
Northman Posted December 16, 2013 Posted December 16, 2013 The locos with this new TTS sound seem to be alright.Very reasonably priced, but I would like to hear it first before I would comment. What does everyone else think?

While sound is not my thing it will be interesting to see how they sound and if they're available separately. It's about time they laughed some sense into the price of sound chips.
Horsetan Posted December 16, 2013 Posted December 16, 2013 If delivery problems go on as they are, it could be 2015/2016 before models reach these shores....
RedRich Posted December 16, 2013 Posted December 16, 2013 It's interesting that they are going head to head with Bachmann re the MK11e coaches. Rich,
Northman Posted December 16, 2013 Posted December 16, 2013 Warbonnet, the Duke of Gloucester,I see,is being brought out with TTS so I'm tempted to wait and see what its like instead of buying the one thats coming out now.
steventrain Posted December 16, 2013 Posted December 16, 2013 Hornby pricing policies for 2014. http://www.rmweb.co.uk/community/index.php?/topic/79847-hornby-2014-a-fatal-sting-for-retailers/
RedRich Posted December 17, 2013 Posted December 17, 2013 The fact that the Hornby MK11e's are going up against the the Bachmnann MK11f's, is the only difference the size of the roof hatches or are there any other little details. The Midland Mainline HST set should prove more popular than the later version they released some years back. Rich,
Georgeconna Posted December 17, 2013 Posted December 17, 2013 Nice stuff there, Will we see it next year is a long shot. Cant wait to get the 2-Hal and the Black Motor!!!
