purple Posted December 20, 2013 Posted December 20, 2013 (edited) Never mind - was just on the phone. It wasn't clear it didn't apply to Murphy Models . Edited December 20, 2013 by purple Quote
The Train Man Posted December 20, 2013 Author Posted December 20, 2013 It has been brought to our attention that some customers are experiencing difficulties when using the 25% off code on the new site. It appears to be caused when the code is used for items not included in the offer, namely all Murphy Models, currently "on sale" items, and Gift Cards. Below is are the details from the original email, with the exceptions in red. If there are any other issues with the site, please let us know! "Our New Website is Live! We're delighted to announce that the brand spanking new theModelshop.ie has been launched. To mark the occasion and by way of thanks for your custom over the years we are offering 25% off all orders placed before midnight tonight! All you have to do is use the code 'NEWSITE25' on the checkout page. It's not too late to do some last minute shopping in time for Christmas. Our cut off dates for pre Christmas deliveries are: 12 noon today - UK 12 noon Monday 23rd December - Republic of Ireland & Northern Ireland There are some conditions related to this offer but no sneaky ones! Murphy Models products, items already on "sale" and Gift Cards are not eligible for a 25% discount but everything else is so snap up a bargain!" Quote

Shinkansen Posted December 21, 2013 Posted December 21, 2013 6-car Eurostar!! Someones on the nice list!! Very happy with this, have been wanting one of these for a long while. Plenty bang for your buck with this train pack, The 6-car set is 1.6-1.7 meters long. I put the whole thing together this evening but can't run her just yet. Have to build a continous loop of track first. I wouldnt dare try and stretch her legs on an 'end-to-end' layout! There'll be some mods carried out next year, lights and DCC for sure One question, what does a Eurostar fall into, British outline, Continental, or both? Quote

BosKonay Posted December 21, 2013 Posted December 21, 2013 Both of both I guess! I'm a fan of 'it's my railway I can run what I want' on home layouts! I personally have multiple TGVs an ICE and lots if BR that will be on Amiena Quote
