I am again unable to access the new site. The address 'www.themodelshop.ie' takes me to the 2010 site when using either Explorer or Google Chrome.

 

Delete your browsing history and try again?

 

I have invested wisely.... :)

It has been brought to our attention that some customers are experiencing difficulties when using the 25% off code on the new site. It appears to be caused when the code is used for items not included in the offer, namely all Murphy Models, currently "on sale" items, and Gift Cards. Below is are the details from the original email, with the exceptions in red. If there are any other issues with the site, please let us know!

The site is usually slow to load. Pages within the site are slow too..... Also, the links at the bottom of the page, listed under Shopping with us, and Customer service, take me back to the home page..

We still have a few issues to be resolved and tidied up and we are working on these issues. Hopefully will be all singing all dancing and fully integrated with our instore epos over the holidays. Thanks for your comments.

6-car Eurostar!! Someones on the nice list!!

 

Very happy with this, have been wanting one of these for a long while. Plenty bang for your buck with this train pack, The 6-car set is 1.6-1.7 meters long. I put the whole thing together this evening but can't run her just yet. Have to build a continous loop of track first. I wouldnt dare try and stretch her legs on an 'end-to-end' layout!

 

There'll be some mods carried out next year, lights and DCC for sure :D

 

One question, what does a Eurostar fall into, British outline, Continental, or both?

Both of both I guess!

 

I'm a fan of 'it's my railway I can run what I want' on home layouts!

 

I personally have multiple TGVs an ICE and lots if BR that will be on Amiena
