Mark 3 Rake

Question

Could somebody please remind me the typical make up of a rake of Mark 3 coaches as they would've been hauled? Obviously there would have been a generator coach on one end and a restaurant at some point in the rake. Were there six other coaches and which ones? And was there a typical formation?

Many thanks

I remember seeing a MK11 set in Bray hauled by an 071' date=' all in the IE livery. The consist was Loco-EGV-First-Restaurant- Composite- 3 Standards in that order. Rich,[/quote']

Yes Rich,

Generally sets that were used on the Sligo and Rosslare services were kept in that formation,

When used on secondary services in particular from Heuston-they were mixed up,

I remember the refurbished Galway liveried Mk2 set being about the only Heuston based set in a reasonable formation from there introduction in 2001.
