Kirley
Three coaches made from the excellent sides from JM Designs. The details on these sides are superb and I would highly recommend them to anyone who is interested in building Irish Railway coaches. As usual John provides very detailed instructions. aclass007
Excellent detail in those coaches! Well done to JM Designs for producing the sides, and to yourself for the quality of the build!
Horsetan
They'd look well with the SSM Bredins.
Noel
They look very well. What donor coach(es) did you use?
popeye
Very nice models & a nice paint job. What is the arrangment of the seats, is it 3/2 or 3/3?
jhb171achill
Absolutely top class.

jhb171achill
Quick question, Kirley - I notice the late GSR-era / early CIE red upholstery inside, which was the norm in these coaches. Very impressive - did the kit come with details of this?
jhb171achill
The seating inside, popeye, was 2+2, as it Cravens. Only the Park Royals had 3+2.
flange lubricator
Only the Park Royals had 3+2. I think that the first series of laminate coaches 1429-1448 were 70 seaters with 3+2 seating nicknamed maze if I remember correctly. super job on the bredins Kirley
jhb171achill
Yes, flange, I forgot about them, though I'm not quite sure they were originally like that.
flange lubricator
They were 70 seats as built as far as I'm aware .
Kirley
They look very well. What donor coach(es) did you use? Noel, John has adapted his coach sides to fit the Dapol 60' LMS coach kits.
Kirley
Quick question, Kirley - I notice the late GSR-era / early CIE red upholstery inside, which was the norm in these coaches. Very impressive - did the kit come with details of this? I did the seating the same colour as the other Bredin I've built and I think it was a certain knowledgeable Gentleman on this Site who covered the seating colouring in one of his many Epistles on liveries.
